We got bored eating same kind of parathas. So, I experimented paratha with ricotta cheese. It came out very delicious. We ate more than our normal appetite. Everyone knows ricotta cheese is a great source of protein, so it is very healthy too.
Ingredients:
- 1-cup ricotta cheese
- 2-cup wheat flour
- ½-cup finely chopped onion
- 1-tbs finely chopped coriander leaves (cilantro)
- 1-tsp ajwain
- salt to taste
- oil for cooking
Instruction:
- Mix all the ingredients and knead into a soft dough.
- Take a small ball size dough and roll out into a circle of 5” diameter.
- Cook each paratha into a griddle or tava, brush the oil on both side and cook until both side turn brown.
- Serve hot. I usually prefer eating Prathas with tea but you can try your own drink e.g. Lassi
