Ricotta Cheese Paratha (Pan fried Indian bread)

We got bored eating same kind of parathas. So, I experimented paratha with ricotta cheese. It came out very delicious. We ate more than our normal appetite. Everyone knows ricotta cheese is a great source of protein, so it is very healthy too.

Ingredients:
  • 1-cup ricotta cheese
  • 2-cup wheat flour
  • ½-cup finely chopped onion
  • 1-tbs finely chopped coriander leaves (cilantro)
  • 1-tsp ajwain
  • salt to taste
  • oil for cooking
Instruction:
  • Mix all the ingredients and knead into a soft dough.
  • Take a small ball size dough and roll out into a circle of 5” diameter.
  • Cook each paratha into a griddle or tava, brush the oil on both side and cook until both side turn brown.
  • Serve hot. I usually prefer eating Prathas with tea but you can try your own drink e.g. Lassi
