Aloo Halwa (Indian Sweet Dish made of Mashed Potato)

Ingredents:
4-medium size potaos
5-tbs ghee or butter
1/2 cup sugar
½ tsp green elaichi ( Cardamon) powder
10 Nos Almond silvered
10 Nos kishmish (Rasins)

Instructions:
  • Boil the potato in a saucepan or microwave them for 8 min.
  • Once the potatos cool down, mash or grate them.
  • Take heavy bottomed pan and put it on medium heat.
  • Add the ghee and add the grated potato.
  • Stir and cook this till the ghee starts seperating from the potatoe mixture.
  • Add sugar and stir continuously.
  • Add green elaichi powder and stir for 2-3 mins.
  • Remove the pan from the heat.
  • Garnish with the dry nuts.
