Aloo Halwa (Indian Sweet Dish made of Mashed Potato)
4-medium size potaos
5-tbs ghee or butter
1/2 cup sugar
½ tsp green elaichi ( Cardamon) powder
10 Nos Almond silvered
10 Nos kishmish (Rasins)
Boil the potato in a saucepan or microwave them for 8 min.
Once the potatos cool down, mash or grate them.
Take heavy bottomed pan and put it on medium heat.
Add the ghee and add the grated potato.
Stir and cook this till the ghee starts seperating from the potatoe mixture.
Add sugar and stir continuously.
Add green elaichi powder and stir for 2-3 mins.
Remove the pan from the heat.
Garnish with the dry nuts.
